We are happy that being a long-time member of the Association, we had the honor to participate in such a wonderful 100th Anniversary of the Association of Butchers and Producers of Processed Meat of the Republic of Poland. Ten decades of the rich history of activity is undoubtedly a very large contribution to the development of meat processing in Poland.  This is due, among other things, to the activities of the Association that Polish food enjoys such great recognition in the Polish and overseas markets.

We are proud to be members of so merited for Poland the Association of Butchers and Producers of Processed Meat of the Republic of Poland and actively participate in its successes.

Below is a report by Bozena Skarzynska, the editor:
The ceremonial Gala of the 100th anniversary of the Association of Butchers and Producers of Processed Meat of the Republic of Poland took place on September 23. One of the Teutonic strongholds - Gniew Castle - was chosen as its venue. Its magnificent interiors, which were restored to their splendor by the owners of POLMLEK, hosted more than 140 people from companies affiliated with and supporting the ABPPM RP. Before the cannon shot announced the beginning of the Jubilee Gala and the feast in the castle courtyard, the participants of the meeting could take part in the open general meeting of the Association and the Jubilee Conference under the theme: "The current situation and prospects for the development of the meat industry in Poland." The panel discussion was attended by Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, MP, Chairman of the Council for Agriculture to the President of the Republic of Poland; Lech Kołakowski, Deputy Minister of Agriculture; Marcin Wroński, Deputy Director General of NCAS; Janusz Walczak, Chairman of the Managing Commission of the Pork Meat Promotion Fund; Dariusz Niebieszczański, Chairman of the National Council of ABPPM RP; Zbigniew Nowak, Honorary President of ABPPM RP; Jacek Marcinkowski, Honorary President of ABPPM RP. Many attractions were prepared for the participants of the anniversary meeting. These included a demonstration of the skills of the knights residing at Gniew Castle and a concert by the Omen Band.
