PROMAR RUN II Zawiercie Run is behind us!

On May 26, 2024, the streets of Zawiercie were filled with participants of PROMAR RUN II Zawiercie Run. Nearly 300 runners took part in the competition, covering distances of 5 and 10 kilometers.

The organizers of the event were OSIR [Sports and Recreation Center] in Zawiercie and the "Warto Biegać" Sports Group. Our company, PROMAR, had the honor of being the title patron of this event, and the name of the race - PROMAR RUN - to our pride, gained recognition among participants and fans.

The event attracted participants of various ages - from the youngest, several-year-old athletes, to the oldest runner, 83-year-old Mr. Józef Leski, who inspired all the participants with his determination and passion. In addition to the main races, there was also a children's race at the OSIR Zawiercie stadium, where the youngest showed their talents.

Our team of PRORUNNERS bravely and persistently ran 10 km. Lidia and Joasia took the podium and Łukasz, surprising everyone with his incredible speed, was the first from our team to cross the finish line. Congratulations once again to all participants!

During this event, our company was represented by Damian Cieśla, Member of the PROMAR Management Board, who, after a short speech, presented statuettes and awards together with the President of Zawiercie, Anna Nemś, and the Director of OSIR, Grzegorz Przybysz.

It was an unforgettable day full of joy, sportsmanship and positive emotions. The atmosphere was warmed by beautiful, sunny weather. We are convinced that next year the number of participants will at least double.
